Yeah! Clapping my hands and doing a War dance.... I started my book and... man, it is work. It is sooooo much more fun dreaming around and creating the characters and scenes then actually sitting down and try to reign them in and put them on a blank page. *sniff* o.k. wined enough. Of course it has to end up in "work", if people pay for it...
I have the same experience when I paint. I loooove painting trees, but when I am in the middle I curse them and their gazillion leaves. Well, so far so good.
Something else, I found a new writer, that I utterly adore. If I could be just halfway as entertaining and good, I would carry a grin as wide as my temper is short. (hey, I am a red head) Her name is Ann Aguirre and the book's name is "Grimspace". I am halfway through it (had to be forcefully stopped) and it is such an exciting science fiction, I wanted to nibble on my toe nails and bite in the book.
